With a few touches of the screen, Dave Jauquet pulls up milk prices on his Motorola Razr Maxx smartphone.

"You can do everything on the go," the Luxemburg dairy farmer said. "In a minute, I can see a lot of things I need to see, like the milk is down pretty hard this morning."

The app he uses most, Dairy Market Central, is free from Hoard's Dairyman and Merck Animal Health. It provides dairy-related news, weather, dairy-cattle sale information, commodity prices and market activity. ...
