Packers fan finalist never misses a home game

Dave Rickert of Freedom has not missed a Green Bay Packers home game since 1953.

Except for a handful of games where he sat in a wheelchair, the 70-year-old has watched the team play from the same seats - section 137, row 10 - he sat in with his father as a kid.

His love of the game and team has made him a nominee for the 2012 Packers Fan Hall of Fame. Nominated by his brother Pat Rickert, this is the second year he has made the short list. Voting started Jan. 28 and ends Friday. ...
