Police chief residency decision may get 2nd look

It could be deja vu at Green Bay City Hall tonight on the question of whether the city's new police chief should be required to live in Green Bay.

The issue seemed to be settled Feb. 5 when the City Council voted to allow Tom Molitor to serve as police chief while making his home about 20 miles north in the Oconto County community of Abrams.

Without such a waiver, local ordinance requires all city government department heads to live within the Green Bay city limits. ...
