Press-Gazette Media talks with business leaders in its Monday conversation feature. Today, Katy Pettersen of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce in Madison explains the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Awards.

The awards will be made Feb. 28 at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. Ten companies from Northeastern Wisconsin are among 58 nominated statewide.

Starting Tuesday, the Press-Gazette will publish brief profiles of each of the companies nominated from the region. They will run daily, except for next Monday, until the day of the awards. ...
