Looking for a way to get out of the house and stay active this winter? A walking program is a great way to get started, stay motivated and reach your goals.

The Walk with Ease Program can help. The program will teach you how to safely make physical activity part of your everyday life. Walk with Ease offers support, information and tools to help you keep walking a regular part of your life. By going to classes, you'll learn how to handle any challenges to your exercise plan and will receive support and tools you need to help set and reach your goals.

The program will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday, from March 4 to April 10. Class meetings will be held at the Marshfield Mall, community room (next to Younkers). The program is free to adults 60+, with a $10 fee for those younger than 60. New participants are taken until the second week and registration is required. Call Ciara at the Aging & Disability Resource Center to sign up, 715-424-8468. Participants will receive a free pedometer and T-shirt.
