It is time to feature a savory dish. This is a fast and easy salad to toss together and is a nice side dish to most entrees.

I used green cabbage, but red cabbage would have made for a prettier presentation when served.

CAULIFLOWER AND CABBAGE SALAD

1 small head green or red cabbage
1 cauliflower
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 cups Miracle Whip salad dressing
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup real bacon bits
Garnish: cashews

Chop the cabbage and cauliflower and place in a large bowl.

Toss in the chopped onion.

In a separate bowl, mix together the salad dressing, sugar, Parmesan cheese, and bacon bits.

Add dressing to the cabbage mixture and toss.

Serve salad with a sprinkle of cashews on top.
