Closed-session videos concern county

One Marathon County Board member's video camera is making fellow board members so uncomfortable that the county's Executive Committee is trying to prohibit the recording of closed-session meetings.

The Executive Committee last week directed the county's lawyer, Scott Corbett, to develop a policy banning both video and audio recording closed-session meetings because committee members are worried video tapes could be leaked to the press. The policy would need to get approval from two-thirds of the County Board to become a county rule.
