Six people, including three restaurant co-owners, have been arrested in connection with two separate drug investigations in Shawano County.

According to the Shawano Leader, a 31-year-old woman, her dad, 61, and mom, 65, were arrested Feb. 13 for alleged involvement in a marijuana-growing operation. The three family members co-own the Classic’s Restaurant and Lounge in Wescott and a criminal complaint alleges marijuana was sold directly from the bar at the supper club.

Authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in the same building as the supper club and later arrested the 31-year-old woman. She has since been charged with a string of drug-related felonies. Her parents were arrested after authorities found marijuana growing in two areas of their residence in the town of Richmond, according to the Shawano Leader.

The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department released information about the arrests Feb. 15 and also noted that a 40-year-old woman was nabbed Feb. 10 in connection with an unrelated heroin investigation on Lake Drive in the town of Wescott. A man was arrested on an unrelated charge and a third person was arrested Feb. 12 in Shawano based on information gained during that investigation.
