Oakfield community celebrates school forest, trails with 'winter fun' event

Oakfield Elementary School families had the opportunity to explore and enjoy the trails in the Belle Reynolds School and Oakfield Community Woodland School Forest, located right behind the Oakfield water tower on Saturday, Jan. 26.

This first-time, fun and free, family event was co-sponsored by the Oakfield School District and the Oakfield PTO. Everyone had the opportunity to try out snowshoes, search for brightly colored "pretties" hiding along the trails, and share a story under the famous "Story Time Tree."
