The appointed head of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. said the agency is working to improve operations in the wake of an audit pointing out operational shortcomings.

"You're going to see us looking a lot more like a bank when we're done with this evolution we're in right now," said Reed Hall, the appointed CEO of the public-private development organization that replaced the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.
