Quiet primary for state Supreme Court expected

Today's spring primary election will feature just one race, and officials are expecting that to result in low voter turnout across the state.

The only statewide race, and lone race on the ballot for Portage County, will be a primary for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Justice Pat Roggensack, lemon law attorney Vince Megna and Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone are running for a 10-year term, with the top two vote-getters advancing to the April 2 general election.
