Pulaski School Board member to face referendum foe in April election

Longtime Pulaski School Board member Barbara McKeefry will face off against Barney Eckberg for a spot on the board in the April 2 election.

The candidates were the top two vote-getters in Tuesday's primary. Eckberg, a longtime resident who opposes a nearly $22 million referendum, received 349 votes in the primary, 22 more than McKeefry.

McKeefry, who has been on the board for 18 years, has supported the referendum. She has also noted a concern for fiscal responsibility. ...
