Chuck Tripp is a math teacher at De Pere High School, but the school's veteran wrestling head coach occasionally is inclined to get philosophical with his athletes.

Tripp has imparted quotes such as this in the wrestling room: "A warrior - through uncertainty, adversity, injury - obliterates hesitation and overcomes all doubt."

Much to the delight of Tripp, a number of his charges carried out what he preached going into the WIAA Division 1 sectional hosted by De Pere on Saturday. ...
