Gillett man sentenced in attack

A Gillett man who attacked another man with a baseball bat was sentenced Friday to four years in prison.

Joshua J. Lauersdorf, 30, will also serve three years of extended supervision.

According to the criminal complaint, Lauersdorf forced his girlfriend to lure Riley M. Maas, 18, to a field just north of Gillett on Aug. 18. When they arrived, the girlfriend asked Maas and his girlfriend to check one of her truck tires. ...
