The Oshkosh Suzuki Music Program presents its Midwinter Concert on Sunday Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 137 Algoma Blvd., in Oshkosh. The annual event features approximately 40 violin, cello and viola students of instructors David Smith, Holly Rognstad and Nancy Kaphaem.

The students, who range in age from 3 to 17 years, will perform classical and folk music selections from the repertoire for the Suzuki Violin School as well as several Irish fiddle tunes.

The Oshkosh Suzuki Music Program is affiliated with Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh and is open to all students. For more information please visit http://oshkoshsuzuki.org or call (920) 230-6503.

If you have ever wanted to learn about the Suzuki method of music instruction, this is a great opportunity to meet the instructors. The concert is free of charge.
