Green Team explores the nighttime world of owls

On Saturday, March 9, the Green Team will be offering an evening outdoors at the Green Lake Conference Center looking and listening for owls. This event will be led by local bird expert, Tom Schultz, starting at 6:30 p.m. The group will be walking some of the roads and playing recordings of various owl calls, hoping to solicit responses.

Participants should plan to meet at the parking lot for the Rysdon Recreation Center, which is located a short distance beyond the historic boathouse. To reach it, follow Lawson Drive from the main GLCC entrance on Hwy. 23 until you get to the lakeshore. Just ...
