A winter weather advisory has been issued for 3 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday as 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected in the Green Bay area.

The advisory is in effect for much of the region, including Brown, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Shawano and Outagamie counties.

The snow is expected to cause travel difficulties and much of the accumulation will likely be south of Wisconsin 29. ...
