Completion of Oaklawn starts school redistricting decisions in Oshkosh

The Oshkosh school board will consider redrawing elementary school attendance areas on the district's north side by the end of the month.

If approved by the board, the north-side boundary changes will take effect for the 2013-14 school year, however changes on the south and west sides could take more than two years, said Superintendent Stan Mack.

Administrators will recommend that the board approve, at its Feb. 27 meeting, the second of two proposed attendance scenarios created for the district by planning firm Martenson & Eisele. The first scenario, based on operating schools at 100 ...
