While it's cold outside, the stage at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts, 826 N. Eighth St., Sheboygan, will be heating up with Hawaiian native and world-class musician Makana.

He's scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday as part of the Vollrath Company Music Series.

"Esquire magazine calls him 'the greatest living player' of slack key guitar, and he packages that with an impressive stage presence," said Kris Krentz, marketing and ticket office manager for the Weill Center. ...
