Restaurants and bars across the Wausau area welcomed Fat Tuesday on Feb. 12 with spicy sounds from jazz bands. The Red Eye welcomed Bennett Heinz Quintet from Stevens Point as a special treat for customers. Another chance to hear jazz is coming to Bull Falls Brewery on March 13 with the John Greiner Trio. Joining Greiner on tenor saxophone will be Cully Swansen on acoustic bass and Chris Wills on drums. The trio will perform jazz standards from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There is no admission fee.
