Leadership class members work to better community

Since 1989, Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership class members have been required to complete a community-based project as a criteria for graduation.

Some of those projects, including Community Care Day (class of 2006-07), Cinema Under the Stars (2005-06) and Snow Sculpture Spectacular (2004-05) have become annual events.

Organizers hope the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Winter Sports Fest, set for its second year, joins those ranks. The project is a collaboration of members from last year's class and this year's class. ...
