Sevastopol football coach resigns

New coach approved at school board meeting

The Sevastopol School Board on Thursday accepted the resignation of varsity football coach Ron Frank.

"After coaching football 21 of the last 23 years, I feel I need some time off to decompress," Frank said in his resignation letter. "I would like to thank the school, community and board for allowing me to work with our young athletes."

The board approved the hiring of Justin Skiba to succeed Frank, who led Sevastopol to its only playoff appearance in 2010. ...
