Mercury Marine seeking workers

Mercury Marine said Thursday it plans to hire about 80 employees during the first few months of this year to work at its facilities in Fond du Lac.

The majority of the positions are in production, primarily in machining and die cast operations, Mercury Marine said in a news release. The company said it has hired more than 1,000 employees in the Past year and is bolstering production to keep pace with demand for its engines.

Depending on the position, applicants can earn a starting wage of up to $14.90 per hour. Many positions offer a benefits package, including health and dental care coverage, ...
