Boys basketball: Algoma wins its 4th straight

Algoma's boys basketball team (15-7, 9-5 Packerland Conference) closed out the regular season with a four-game winning streak, this after their 57-40 win at Sevastopol (3-16, 2-12) on Feb. 15. The Wolves were at their best in the third quarter, outscoring the Pioneers 16-4.

"Sevastopol is always a tough place to play, and I felt like we needed the right intensity from the start," said Algoma head coach Bob Graf. "I was really happy with how our kids off the bench played. None of our starters played in the fourth quarter, and I felt like our bench kids did a great job and played with a lot of energy."
