Judo club members meet Olympic gold medalist

Every January, the Judo Clubs of Wisconsin meet in Milwaukee for judo clinics and to recognize the newest members inducted into the Wisconsin Judo Hall of Fame.

Kayla Harrison, who won an Olympic Gold Medal in judo at the 2012 London, England games, held two clinics for the judo students Jan. 26 at Milwaukee Lutheran High School. First, 97 youths were on the mat with Harrison. Then 116 adult students were on the mat. Harrison demonstrated her favorite techniques and field questions from students.
