A Fox Valley health center that serves low-income and often uninsured residents is again taking on new adult patients after overcoming a staffing shortage that forced it to refer prospective clients elsewhere.

The Fox Cities Community Health Center resumed accepting new adult medical patients this month after hiring a nurse practitioner and a certified nurse midwife. The clinic also is collaborating with Affinity Health System to jointly hire a nurse practitioner to provide services for both organizations.
