Baseball

Appleton Little League is accepting registrations for both the T-Ball and rookie league levels. T-ball is for children ages 4-6 with both a beginner and an advanced division. Rookie league (machine pitch) is for children 7-8 years old. Games for both levels take place on weekday evenings at parks throughout Appleton. For more information, visit appletonlittleleagues.com. The Northeast Wisconsin Men's Senior Baseball League will hold tryouts on April 7. The league is for players 25 and older. For more information, contact Jeff Jarvi at 920-676-8501 or jarv26@yahoo.com or Joe Viau at 920-255-0336 or jviau@itol.com.

Basketball

The St. John/St. Mary Springfest three-on-three basketball tournament will be held April 14 at St. John's Parish in Menasha. There will be three divisions for boys and three for girls. The divisions are Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6 and Grades 7-8. The team registration fee is $60 and the registration deadline is April 1. For more information, contact Chris Lewandowski at 920-915-7859.

The Hoops 2 Help fundraiser basketball camp will be held Saturday, March 16, at the new Sportsplex in Appleton Alliance Church. The free camp will have three sessions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for boys and girls in kindergarten through 12th grade. All donations at the door will go to Braeden Jansen, a 6-year-old Kaukauna boy diagnosed with B Cell Leukemia. The camp will have instruction from Jordan McCabe, who will teach ball-handling and jump-rope drills. Register free at http://aachur.ch/jm31613. Players Choice of the Fox Cities is holding a March Madness men's three-on-three tournament on March 16. The team fee is $115 and teams are guaranteed three games. The registration deadline is March 9.

Football

Players Choice of the Fox Cities is holding a men's five-on-five flag football tournament on March 22. Games start at 5 p.m. The team fee is $125 and teams are guaranteed at least two games. The registration deadline is March 8.

Soccer

There will be an organizational
meeting for girls interested in playing soccer this spring at Appleton North High School on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the LGI. Schedules and expectations will be distributed. Parents are welcome to attend. For more information, contact coach John Wuebben at wuebbenjohn@aasd.k12.wi.us.
