Hotel Hamilton, an impressive, three-story, red-brick building, opened in the city of Two Rivers on July 6, 1905. Located at Washington and 15th streets, the hotel was constructed by area stockholders, headed by J.E. Hamilton.

According to a promotional pamphlet, the hotel had "73 all outside sleeping apartments, all fitted throughout with stationary lavatories with running hot and cold water connections. Private, public, and shower baths, steam heat, electric lights, phones, bells, hardwood floors, rugs and everything that goes to make up a first class hotel in every respect. The ...
