Donation makes mental health information available at library

Marshfield Public Library has more than 350 new materials available covering a range of mental health topics after volunteers placed donor gift plates on the items Friday.

Library Director Lori Belongia said the materials were purchased using a donation of about $5,500 from Mike's Run, an event organized by Marshfield Clinic and the family of Mike Hackman, a Marshfield man who committed suicide in 2010 after a long battle with mental illness.
