February has long been celebrated as the month for love.

Valentine's Day has been celebrated throughout the world for many centuries. Many will argue about its origin, but one origin that seems to be popular is the story of St. Valentine and how he secretly performed matrimony for young couples who were banned to marry by the Roman Emperor during a time of great struggle for the Romans. The Roman Emperor believed that soldiers that were married were too emotionally attached to their spouse and family and therefore would not make good soldiers.
