The 75-minute trip back from the Eastern part of the state was a lot more enjoyable this time for the UW-Stevens Point women's basketball team.

After suffering a heartbreaking loss to UW-Oshkosh late in the regular season on a buzzer-beater, UWSP got the outcome it wanted when it mattered most.

The No. 21-ranked Pointers became the first team to defeat Oshkosh on its home floor this season with a 59-50 victory in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals at the Kolf Sports Center. ...
