The final day of the WIAA individual state tournament didn't go how the area's four Division 1 finalists would have liked.

Pulaski's Kasey Caelwaerts (152 pounds), Ashwaubenon's Mitchell Cole (160) and Bay Port senior Alex Blaney (138) and Garrett Heder (285) finished as runners-up in their weight classes Saturday at the Kohl Center.

In becoming the first sophomore from the area to reach the D1 finals since 2009, Caelwaerts lost a 5-2 decision to Hartford Union freshman Beau Breske. ...
