Letter: Binder deserves write-in vote for council

6:35 PM, Feb. 23, 2013  |  Comments

It was with pleasure that I read Don Binder was running as a write-in candidate for the Oshkosh City Council. I knew Don Binder when he was a deputy sheriff for the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department.

Don always displayed a unique ability to accomplish any and all tasks assigned to him. His ability to get along exceptionally well with the citizens, his supervisors and his peers made Don a very effective deputy and an excellent employee for the Winnebago County.

Based on the years of public service that Don has served Winnebago County I feel that he would also be an outstanding asset to the City of Oshkosh as a city council member. Please join me in writing in Don Binder on April 2 for the Oshkosh City Council.

You will be doing our city a great service.

Former Sheriff of Winnebago County
