Reality TV meets the Bible in mini-series debut March 3

The strong faith of Irish actress Roma Downey and her TV producer husband Mark Brunett has led them to make a 10-hour mini-series dramatizing the Bible.

Filmed over five months at a cost of $22 million, "The Bible" will be shown for the first time in the United States starting Sunday, March 3, on The History Channel.

The production, according to The Irish Times of Dublin, "covers a broad account of the best-known and some little-known biblical stories, from the book of Genesis to Revelation." ...
