ADRIAN, Mich. - The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point women's hockey team might want to adopt the Bee Ge's classic "Stayling Alive" after what it endured over the weekend.

After suffering a heartbreaking overtime loss in its opening game of a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association quarterfinal series with Adrian (Mich.) on Friday night, UWSP needed to work more overtime and then some to keep its season alive.

The Pointers rebounded from a playoff-opening loss with a 2-1 win over Adrian in the series finale to force a mini-game Saturday, and then prevailed in the mini-game in overtime ...
