Donald Driver street renaming draws raves at City Hall

The renaming of a downtown street after Green Bay Packers fan favorite Donald Driver seems to be sailing through City Hall more smoothly than an Aaron Rodgers touchdown pass.

The Green Bay Plan Commission agreed Monday to send the proposal to city staff for some perfunctory procedures.

That means the proposal will likely come back for a Plan Commission vote in two weeks, followed by City Council action shortly after that. ...
