A nonprofit health initiative that aims to improve the health and wellness of farm families and their workers would be a good fit for Marathon County.

That was the conclusion made at a meeting of farmers, health care providers and advocates and ag educators held Thursday morning at the University of Wisconsin-Extension building on River Drive, in an effort to inform, gauge interest and build support for expanding the Rural Health Initiative into Marathon County.
