You would think a fellow who jumped out of an airplane from 10,000 feet as early as last summer wouldn't be intimidated by too many adventurous recreational pursuits.

I've been open to such edgy endeavors such as zip-lining and parasailing in recent years and I close in on my 60th birthday fully confident that my body can hold out for a few more years.

However, I stand a better chance of making it to 60 and beyond if I stay away from skijoring. Ski what? At least that's what I asked my daughter Jackie when she arrived back home excited to tell us about this new winter sport she was taking up with her dog ...
