ASHWAUBENON - It's as simple as this for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball team: Win Saturday's regular-season finale against first-place Valparaiso, and the Phoenix earns a first-round bye in next week's Horizon League tournament.

Two things that happened Tuesday made that possible: UWGB's 78-61 win over UW-Milwaukee at the Resch Center and Wright State's 60-55 loss at Illinois-Chicago.
