Smart Cow Yogurt Bar opens at noon today at 2450 E. Mason St.

Smart Cow is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop with 16 flavors and dozens of toppings. Yogurt is sold by weight.

Owners are Renee Hoffmann, who manages the stores in Green Bay, Hans Kuhlmann and his wife, Robyn, who is Hoffmann's sister.

The stores contribute part of a day's sales to local schools twice a month. As part of its grand opening, the Eastside store will contribute a part of a day's sales for five days to five schools.

To date, the company, which has a store in Ashwaubenon and two in Colorado, contributed more than $40,000 to schools.

A Qdoba Mexican Grill also is open in the building. A Noodles & Co. restaurant is expected to open there later this year.

The website is smartcowyogurt.com.
