When I was in high school, the amount of time devoted to interview and resume skills amounted to a few class periods worth of instruction.

There were no mock interviews with business leaders in the community, or resume workshops where volunteers offered advice on how to edit my resume.

Tuesday's daylong event at the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County, where 40 people from local businesses conducted mock interviews for 300 Columbus and Marshfield High School juniors, is definitely something all high school students should have the chance to experience. ...
