Winter storm slams Sheboygan, causing havoc on roads, closing schools (with photos, video)

Area residents are digging out this morning after a winter storm dropped about 15 inches of snow on Sheboygan overnight.

The storm rendered some city and county roads impassable and caused nearly all county school districts and private schools to close.

The City of Sheboygan declared a snow emergency starting at 7:30 a.m.. Since today is the 27th, on-street parking is only allowed on the south and east sides of the street during the emergency. ...
