Wood County inmate pleads not guilty to murder plot

A 22-year-old Wood County inmate charged with trying to arrange a murder while he was in jail on a homicide charge pleaded not guilty to a related charge Tuesday in Wood County Circuit Court.

Gabriel L. Campos, Marshfield, previously entered a plea of not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect to the charge of first-degree homicide in the Sept. 7 stabbing death of his former girlfriend Maisie E.
