Cranberries come to Port Edwards schools

Port Edwards students will reap the benefits of the ultimate farm-to-school local produce experience this month.

Walker Cranberry Co. employee Jason Weis personally delivered the school's order of locally grown and processed sweetened-dried cranberries. The cranberries are February's featured Wood County Farm to School Harvest of the Month product, which the students will enjoy baked into made-from-scratch cookies.
