Maggie Mae concert to benefit Highground tribute

More than 140 Wisconsin service men and women have been killed while serving in the Persian Gulf region, which includes Iraq and Afghanistan.

To honor these fallen warriors and to provide a place for veterans, families and community to heal and remember, The Highground in Neillsville is building a Persian Gulf Tribute. The tribute will be a large outdoor memorial designed to resemble a combat boot print in desert sand with other symbolical elements unique to the Persian Gulf conflicts.
