The Pavilion will be swinging to the music of Wausau Symphony and Band members and the John Greiner Jazz Quartet as they present Swing-sation.

This is the third year the two music groups have joined forces to enable the continuation of a musical organization first formed in 1898, Wausau Symphony and Band. The concert funds will allow the group to purchase music and continue to offer concerts in the Wausau area, such as the upcoming Picnic at the Pavilion on April 13, said Barb Oelke, Wausau Symphony and Band president.

The music will be live from 7 p.m. to after 10 p.m. "It presents the perfect opportunity for anyone that loves to do ballroom dancing," Oelke said.

Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the evening, and prizes include two MetJet Airlines tickets and an autographed Green Bay Packers football, with winners announced at 10 p.m.

Tickets cost $25 per person in advance, and are available at Biggby Coffee locations or at Crossroads County Market. The event includes a cash bar and food for purchase from Lisa's Sweet Shoppe and Catering.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For more information, call 715-298-2100 or visit www.wausausymphonyband.org.
