P-C earns 48 awards in statewide newspaper contest

Post-Crescent Media was recognized Friday night with 48 awards in the 2012 Wisconsin Newspaper Association Foundation's Better Newspaper and Advertising contests.

Thirty-three of the awards, including seven firsts, were earned for news department work ranging from a special digital project about the impact of dementia; feature writing for an enterprise story about a special firetruck made locally that still serves at ground zero in New York City; and design of features, news and sports pages.
