Pier Chater-Robinson's version of Peter Pan has enjoyed quite a lot of success over the last 14 years. This version has been reprinted and is now in its fourth edition. The music has an edgier sound and is more relatable to audiences of every age. Piers continued to tour with the show up until 2001. It is now a favorite in most English speaking countries.

Under the direction of Alum Christa Lewis (Rebek) '95, the show has become a first in many areas in the school's history. Every aspect of the show has been well thought out and required countless hours on set and rehearsals. Kris Bartelt has joined this year as rehearsal/performing accompanist and proves to be quite a talent! The pit orchestra, directed by SMSA band/choral director Andrea Pannier uses a large amount of student musicians, adding to an otherwise fabulous instrumental program, as well a core group of adults returning for yet another SMSA production. The award winning Varsity Dance coach, Stephanie Brusky (Develice) '97, also choreographed a large dance number with the dance squad. We are very excited to have so many talented faculty and staff members involved!

SMSA has been rehearsing since the beginning of January. In that time, they have not only rehearsed a typical show with acting, singing, dancing, lighting and sound, but added flying to the mix! ZFX flying has been a part of the show since late February and SMSA is very excited to show everyone what our students can do. Students from the middle school also take the stage as a few Lost Boys and Pirates. It is an historical time for the school as they continue to grow and expand their department of performing arts.

There are over 50 students involved in the production of Peter Pan. Cast members include: Nicole Kegley, Hannah Holzmann, Andrew DiSalvo, Drew Huck, Ben Falter, Samantha Grebe, Brianne Lisowe, Lydia Lindow, Lizzi Hoch, Abby Meyer, Emily Ransom, Anja Ozols, Elizabeth Brunette, Kelsey Carter, James Unger, Matt Skiff, Aaron Krebsbach, Weston Kramer, Lucas Krebsbach, Gabbi Hanlon, Molly Kluever, Simitrio Arellano, Peter Streblow, Gabi Garcia, Alissa Kramer, Jodi Newhouser, Hannah Lavrenz, Megan Mas, Rachel O'Loughlin, Chiara Ogle, Brittany Ramskuglar and Lauren Freund.
