Mary Mullen of W.I.T. Marketing Communications will be the guest speaker at the Women in Management meeting scheduled for March 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn.

W.I.T. Marketing Communications LLC is a brand visionary for its clients - small- to mid-sized businesses - who need help in identifying their key points of difference. Working together with former colleagues, W.I.T.'s goal is to effectively communicate a client's brand story and brand benefits to customers across a range of disciplines and mediums.

As an advertising professional for almost 30 years, Mullen has worked for a number of Wisconsin-based advertising agencies serving clients that range from Fortune 500 companies as well as small local businesses, including several in the Fond du Lac area. Her experience includes account planning, account management, copywriting, and media planning and buying.

Mullen's presentation will focus on understanding the difference between marketing and advertising, the importance of storytelling, knowing where you end and your business begins, the evolution of marketing in a digital world, and leveraging complementary relationships.

To attend, reservations are required by noon on Friday, March 8 by contacting Chris Rockweit at 322-3240; or e-mail chrisr@fdlcu.com. The cost to attend the meeting is $14 for members; and $16 for non-members, payable at the door. The fee is non-refundable after making reservations.
