Fond du Lac Boy Scout Troop 702 second annual rummage sale is this Saturday, March 9, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (no early sales please) in the Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church located at 1225 Fourth St., Fond du Lac.

Items such as books and games, toys, housewares, Home Interiors and knick-knacks, kids and adult clothing, bikes, jewelry, misc. furniture and much more will be available at incredible prices! Their sale also includes two of their other current troop fund-raisers: Seroogy's candy bars and taking orders for Dutch Mill flowering bulbs - a great summer selection delivered to you just in time for late spring planting!

Troop 702 has several fund-raisers planned this spring and are hoping their rummage sale produces bumper sales! All of their scouts benefit from this event. Fund-raisers help scouts earn funds to put in their "scout accounts" to help them pay for merit badges earned, camp gear, outings and camps such as summer camp, National Youth Leadership Training Camp (NYLT) and the 2013 National Scouting Jamboree, held at Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia where several of their scouts are preparing to attend this summer.

Have you started your Spring cleaning yet? If you would like to help the scouts by donating to their rummage sale, they will accept items in good condition Wednesday, March 6. No large electronics or computer hard drives, monitors or printers please. You may contact Jennifer with First Presbyterian Church at 922-0425 to arrange dropping off your items. Please do not drop items off at the church without making arrangements first.

Plan on stopping in for this event to find yourself some "treasures" and help support the Boy Scouts!
